Oberlin Marketing (an integrity Company) is seeking a Director of Individual Health. This is a key position in the organization as part of our product leadership team, focusing expertise on individual health insurance products for pre-medicare individuals. The position will be responsible for the Oberlin operations efforts relating to the product expertise and carrier processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Building strong relationships with existing Oberlin agents and helping recruit new independent agents to grow our distribution of individual health products. Regular communication to our agent base providing content, resources, and information to foster success in the market. Strong ongoing service and support to agents as they navigate the sales process in the field. Champion of product expertise to our agent base, and product knowledge growth. Create cross-referral opportunities for annuities, life, group health, and Medicare. Review and manage current tools, technology, and offerings for internal and external use to drive efficiency, new sales and improved service. Partner with marketing initiatives to create and implement campaigns for business growth. Maximize carrier contracts and relationships with partner uplines and IMOs/FMOs. Assist operations management with onboarding, contracting, and enforcing new business processes and procedures if needed. Attend local industry events & other opportunities as needed for professional development and relationship growth. Lead and coordinate with current customer service staff for support of agents, including delegation of department focus, training, and development professionally. Tracking, compiling, and assessing agent performance, and making data-driven decisions for strategic growth. Proper tracking, execution, and follow up for field sales escalations in coordination with insurance carriers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Successful track record with individual health, ancillary, and/or ACA/Marketplace products. Established relationships with carriers, vendors, TPAs and industry players is preferred Competent knowledge of insurance plan design & comparison. Proven track record of innovation and adaptability in the workplace. Proven track record of leadership, and a heart for service. Life & Health License preferred.
