Fire & Light Productions will perform Mill Girls on November 7,8, 9, 14, 15, and 16 at the Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab, 300 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne. Set in the American industrial revolution of the 1840’s, the show follows Octavia, Hannah, and other girls from dissimilar backgrounds as they take on jobs in a New England mill. Wage cuts and miserable working conditions become the norm - but the mill girls are determined to gain reasonable pay and conditions.
