A local Fort Wayne (and surrounding areas) retailer is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee and maintain 25 commercial properties! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical and more. This role requires proactive problem-solving, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance across 25 commercial properties.
Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and piping concerns. - Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, maintaining optimal performance for commercial operations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with property ownership and other stakeholders to schedule repairs and minimize business disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
Working Conditions:
- Requires travel between multiple commercial properties.
- May involve working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- On-call availability for emergency repairs.
