Melissa Montana talks with Trevor Hill, Director of Special Events for Special Olympics Indiana. Trevor shares about a fun upcoming event! On Friday, May 16, 33 Indiana law enforcement agencies will join forces with Dunkin’ and Special Olympics Indiana for the return of Cop on a Rooftop.
From 5 a.m. to noon, officers will be stationed in and around participating Dunkin’ locations to collect donations and raise awareness for the 19,000 athletes served by Special Olympics Indiana. Donors will receive coupons as a thank-you: a free donut for any donation, and a free medium hot coffee for gifts of $10 or more. So far, this event has raised over $118,000 to support free training and competitions for Hoosier athletes.
