Melissa Montana is excited to welcome Tomi Cardin to Conversations! Tomi is the founder of Redemption House, a recovery home
she founded in 2012 after serving as a volunteer chaplain in the county jail. Her heart broke for the women she met there, who were caught in a cycle
of drug use and turmoil, something she related to from her own history of addiction. “I saw myself in those women,” she recalls. “God gave me a
vision for a transition home where women could develop good habits and live in a sober environment, where they could discover God’s love for them
and the future he has for them. That vision was our first Redemption House.” Today, Tomi is the CEO of Redemption House Ministry, a network
of recovery houses in Fort Wayne.
The 4th Annual Butterfly Gala will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne.
