Study Connection is a Fort Wayne Community Schools initiative pairing students with caring adult mentors for one-on-one tutoring, encouragement, and literacy support. Serving primarily 2nd and 3rd grade students who would benefit from additional support in reading and comprehension, the goal is to build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and help each child.
Mentors are caring, dependable adults who enjoy working with children (grades 2–3), can commit to one hour per week, are patient, encouraging, and consistent, and believe in the power of education and connection. Together, we can make a lasting difference…one student, one hour, one connection at a time.
