We often fall into autopilot listening with so many people, but we rarely do it with people we’re familiar with. This is because familiarity brings intent. We listen intently to people we’re familiar with, but we autopilot listen to God because we might not be as familiar with Him as we think we are. This is a time to become more familiar with God in whatever ways we can.
