We tend to underrate what we do every year. When talking to another person and they ask what we do, we say it as if it’s just another thing in our life, as if it’s not a job we get paid to do, and as if we get no enjoyment from it. But if you think about it, during the story of Jesus, God had so many people to choose to be his disciples, yet he chose people who seemed to be the least significant, because God doesn’t care about how significant people are. If God can choose people who have had nothing else going on in their lives, he can choose you to be his beloved child.
