UCLA’s legendary basketball coach, John Wooden was known for his success as a coach at UCLA and his faith; however, not many people were aware of how he impacted the lives of 12-13 year olds who took part in his summer basketball camps. Pat Williams, author and V.P. of the Orlando Magic has written a book about what happened during these summer camps. In his book, “Coach Wooden’s Forgotten Teams”, Pat shares how Coach Wooden impacted the lives of many of these teens throughout their lives. Pat captures stories of how Coach Wooden’s support, encouragement, and faith mentored and impacted the lives of those who were a part of his summer camps.
