The Product Engineering Project Administrator assists in planning, documentation, and coordinating activities of engineering projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the critical metrics and elements of our Product Realization and Design Controls Processes. The Project Administrator will assist Project Engineering Managers in the execution of projects by separating administrative and documentation work from technical integration and project management by tracking and completing PR Process documentation, and CO/CR as well as understanding the work and helping to drive improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness related to project execution.
Coordinate and lead all project CO’s, especially project documentation (100- documents)
Ensure proper routing of CO’s related to plans, deliverables, etc.
Ownership of the product DHF
Release documentation into the DHF
Understand and control interrelationships of changes to the product/project
Arrange, schedule, and document Design, Technical, and Gate Reviews with the team and organizational activity managers
PR Process knowledge and improvement
Guide managers and team through the process
Champion improvements to the process
Update and communicate changes to the process
Create process aids to help use and understand the process
Project file development
Author PR Process documents
Ensure Quality Plans and others are complete
Aid in schedule updates, meeting minutes, burn down charts, and communication of project status

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates required, Bachelors preferred
Working knowledge of project management and workflow
Engineering or manufacturing environment background preferred
MS Project and Office proficient
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Education Level: Associate’s Degree
