 Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Well-established Fort Wayne commercial construction company is looking for an experienced Project Manager.   The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.    Time management, excellent communication, Initiative and responsibility are key to this position.

Key Accountabilities:

Update/create overall schedules for each project
Manage overall cost for projects

Set up master cost codes and budgets
 Invoice coding and review
Writing subcontracts and purchase orders
Review and process change orders for projects
Review and process project specific non-subcontractor invoices

Weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
Overall subcontractor management

Answering and processing subcontractor/vendor requests for information
Review shop drawings for accuracy
Review and process subcontractor/vendor submittals
Conduct coordination meeting on specific issues with design team and subcontractors
Managing overall direction of assigned projects

Reporting

Create and process project cost reports for monthly tracking
Creating weekly and monthly owner reports

Preconstruction

Review budgets and prepare them for operations
Review design drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
Participate in design-build meetings
Subcontractor solicitation

Business Development

Setting weekly/monthly goals for business development opportunities
Following up with potential new clients
Touching base with existing clients to ensure level of happiness
