 Here is the job description: Well-established Fort Wayne commercial construction company is looking for an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Time management, excellent communication, Initiative and responsibility are key to this position.

Key Accountabilities:

• Update/create overall schedules for each project • Manage overall cost for projects o Set up master cost codes and budgets o Invoice coding and review o Writing subcontracts and purchase orders o Review and process change orders for projects o Review and process project specific non-subcontractor invoices • Weekly subcontractor coordination meetings • Overall subcontractor management o Answering and processing subcontractor/vendor requests for information o Review shop drawings for accuracy o Review and process subcontractor/vendor submittals o Conduct coordination meeting on specific issues with design team and subcontractors o Managing overall direction of assigned projects • Reporting o Create and process project cost reports for monthly tracking o Creating weekly and monthly owner reports • Preconstruction o Review budgets and prepare them for operations o Review design drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance o Participate in design-build meetings o Subcontractor solicitation • Business Development o Setting weekly/monthly goals for business development opportunities o Following up with potential new clients o Touching base with existing clients to ensure level of happiness
