Resurrection Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time Financial Assistant who is responsible for the day-to-day financial functions of the congregation. This person records contributions, prepares checks for signature including payroll, files required tax documents, maintains all financial records, creates reports for church council and other finance or accounting duties as defined from time to time. The Financial Assistant reports to the Pastor who is the immediate supervisor, but works closely with the church treasurer. A critical element of the position requires that the individual’s conduct be God pleasing in ministering and administering to supervision. In addition, the individual needs to be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and QuickBooks required. Proficiency in Servant Keeper a plus.
