Accountability This position reports directly to the Director of Programming with ultimate accountability to the Senior Pastor. Salary and Benefits The salary for this position will be based on experience and individual employee review. This is a part-time hourly (non-benefitted) position. Hours This position starts at 8 - 14 hours per week and requires a 8:00am to 12:00pm shift on Sundays. Position Requirements This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of two years experience in children’s ministry. Position Responsibilities Facilitate the children’s Ministry program including: UP (Junior Worship) IN (Fellowship) OUT (Outreach) Spiritual Development Work with the Director of Programing to develop, coordinate and implement monthly activities, annual events and curriculum. Work with the Director of Programing in preparing the annual budget. Work with the Director of Programing to deliberately disciple new leaders for the children’s ministry. Oversee the care of equipment related to children’s ministry. Request supplies, materials and equipment as needed. Develop and implement programs to effectively transition children from one grade level to the next. Work with the Director of Programing to establish departmental goals and objectives by prioritizing related program, managing the use of facilities, delegating tasks and evaluating progress regularly. Actively participate in staff meetings, retreats, and huddles. Spend appropriate and necessary time developing and nurturing relationships with the children and their families. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Programing.
