A lawyer, a judge, pastors, a former convict, a future missionary, brand new converts and "regular folks" all formed teams and visited the Darke County Jail this past Saturday. What did they find? Broken lives and thirsty hearts, ready to be filled to the brim with the love of Jesus. God is continuing to open doors in Darke County!  See the picture...

Steve & Shawn

Watch as Steve (disciple-maker) and Shawn (disciple) reflect on their relationship that started through reviveOHIO :: Darke County. Shawn’s life was radically transformed when he gave his life to Jesus Christ last year. Shawn says, “I don’t know a lot about the Bible, and it’s good to have someone like Steve to walk with, you know, help guide me through that.”

“…so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the Gospel of God but our lives as well.”
- 1 Thessalonians 2:8

This week, Kyle received a testimony from Jim, a pastor in St. Mary’s, OH. If you were involved with reviveOH, you may remember some of the ways the Lord touched lives in the restaurant, Subway. Well, the woman and her fiancé who trusted Jesus from Subway have been attending Jim’s church and growing in the Lord! Last Saturday, this couple from Subway asked Pastor Jim to come and pray for their uncle who was in the hospital after a heart attack and almost didn’t make it. Immediately, Pastor Jim went and prayed with the uncle. He went back a few days later to revisit the uncle.

This time, the uncle’s wife, his mother and his sister were there (who are all related to the couple from the Subway). Jim prayed again with the uncle and thanked the Lord for saving his life. After the prayer, the Lord opened the door for Pastor Jim to share the Gospel using the wristband. These are Pastor Jim’s words of testimony:

“Glory be to God - each of them in the room wanted to make Jesus their Lord and Savior. They confessed as they spoke the words from Roman 10:9-10, and we prayed. God is good and I wanted to share how the story of Subway continues!!!”

We WELCOME SCOTT HOBBS to the Time to Revive team, as he has reached his necessary funding! Scott and his wife, Michelle, live in Greenville, OH and have three children: Lilly, Madie and Lincoln. For over 20 years, Scott was the owner and president of Hobbs Trucking, Inc. After a Pastor’s luncheon preparing for reviveOHIO :: Darke County, Scott half-jokingly told Michelle that they may end up working with TTR. She attended an equipping meeting the following week and agreed! The Lord confirmed this calling for their family as they participated in the following outreach weeks. Isn’t God amazing?  Get to know Scott Hobbs.

Revive is about more than seeing someone come to Christ.  New converts get a buddy to help them understand who Jesus is and what a Christian life is all about.  Check this out:
