Jeff Peconge - Warrior Breed Motorcycle Club
Warrior Breed Motorcycle Club is a national non-profit organization dedicated to assisting veterans with combat related issues. Jeff Peconge, National Vice President of the club provides more information about this organization and the OperationMP125 fund raiser program.
All members of Warrior Breed Motocycle Club are honorably discharged servicemen. This outreach, through donations, provides housing, wheelchairs, jobs, food, counseling, and transportation to wounded warriors.
Currently, the local branch of Warrior Breed has teamed up with the Ft. Wayne Parks and Recreation Department to restore Memorial Grove, (located in Memorial Park) to it's original state. The park was originally developed as a tribute to the 125 fallen servicemen from Ft. Wayne during WW1. The trees are now dying or have been damaged by weather. The partnership's goal, 'OperationMP125", is to raise funds to take out the original trees and buy new trees, plant them, and have lit plaques on each tree designating a name of a fallen serviceman. The cost for each tree, maintenance, and the plaque is $250.00.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at Memorial Park on Veteran's Day (Nov. 11, 2017). For more information please visit:http://www.facebook.com/Warrior-Breed-Motorcycle-Club-Inc
