Jack Kosakowski - Junior Achievement
CEO of Junior Achievement, Jack Kosakowski, talks about the mission of Junior Achievement (JA) and the importance of community involvement. The mission of Junior Achievement is to inspire and prepare children and teens to succeed in a global economy and to be successful in life. JA focuses on three areas in developing skills: career and work readiness; financial skills; and entrepreneurial skills. JA incorporates business leaders in communities to go into schools (K-12), to develop these life skills in children by working with teachers in the classroom. The quarter of a million community volunteers across the country are critical to the JA experience.
