If Young People Aren’t Moving, How Do We Get Them to Fort Wayne?

Only 42 percent of 25- to 35-year-olds were married and living with a spouse in 2016 compared to 82 percent in 1963. Thirty-seven percent of millennials lived in their own home last year compared to 56 percent in 1981 and 56 percent of millennials were childless in 2016 compared to fewer than half the gen Xers and boomers.

On the surface, millennials' relative lack of strings would seem to give them more freedom of movement than their predecessors. So why aren't they going anywhere?
