Adam Krupp, Commissioner for the Indiana Department of Revenue shares some tax tips for filing 2017 tax returns. He recommends E-Filing over paper filing, especially when getting a refund. The turn around time for E- Filing is 10 days sooner than paper filing which takes between 25-27 days. 

There are no new tax laws for the state of Indiana. There are 2 tax law changes for federal taxes which include the rise in standard deductions and the increase in annual deductions for HSA for individuals. Taxes must be completed and post marked by Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
