Candace Studebaker - Science Central Winter Camps

Candace Studebaker, Science Central's Camp Director informs listeners of their upcoming Winter Camps beginning December 26. All-day camps will be available for children aged 5-11 years. Camps run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Each day is a different themed camp. There will be a Winter Wonderland Camp where children will learn about snowflakes, dry ice, and will make nitrogen ice-cream. Another camp includes a Crime Solving camp where participants will solve a fake crime using DNA. The FWPD will also be speaking at this camp. Other camps include: learning about spiders, snakes, and bees; physics, and experiments. 

On New Years Eve Day, there will be a "Countdown to Noon" event for all ages. This New Year's Eve celebration will take place during the morning, where a countdown until noon will take place followed by a release of hundreds of balloons.
