Marketing Specialist / Marketing Director - Oberlin Marketing

For more than 30 years, Oberlin Marketing (OM) has been committed to the service and support of insurance professional nationally. We deliver administrative support and marketing distribution of insurance products while providing outstanding service to our Agents.
 The Marketing Specialist/Marketing Director works closely with agents and staff to help them grow and service their books of insurance related business while achieving Oberlin Marketing’s growth objectives. 

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective agents
• Create, develop, and maintain multiple marketing systems to generate prospective agents
• Make outbound calls to share sales concepts and sales successes, identify opportunities, provide product information, and offer sales support
• Assist with brokerage marketing activities such as newsletters, marketing / lead programs, focusing on brokerage growth
• Assist OM with executing our marketing strategy by supporting our Social Media Presence including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, etc.
• Utilize our in-house CRM to track and maintain data on customer interactions
• Provide excellent customer service by both responding to inbound call and correspondence and anticipating our agent’s needs
• Representing OM at industry/trade/recruiting events as needed
• Other duties as assigned


Desired Skills and Abilities:
• Basic understanding / knowledge of insurance marketplace is preferred but not required
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required
• Solid track record of success in a fast paced, business environment
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Possess a positive, energetic attitude, and the ability to develop positive relationships in the marketplace
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and typical CRM systems desirable
• Multi-task while maintaining attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Occasional travel may be necessary (less than 10%)


Education / Licensing
• Minimum of Highschool or Associates degree required, higher educational accomplishments preferred
• Possess or have ability to obtain Indiana state Life/Health insurance license within first year of employment
