Share the Trails- Marion’s Woods
Take a stroll through this mature, open woodland—a rare gem in an urban setting. Marion's Woods is named for the late Marion Eberhardt, a long-time ACRES member and preservationist. Art Eberhardt, Marion's husband, pictured, helped protect this place in her name.
Share the Trails hikes are fun ways to explore the preserves socially. These treks are free to the public, donations are encouraged. You can find out about the benefits of being an ACRES member and join on this hike.
Gather friends and family and join ACRES volunteers as they show off the places they love to help protect—for good. More than being an interpretive or naturalist type of hike, Share the Trails events are aimed at having fun in the woods, wetlands and prairies that ACRES preserves, sharing what you discover along the way.
Come play in the winter woods and wetlands!
