Intro to Disaster Preparedness

Intro to Disaster Preparedness A Beginner's Look at Short-term Preparedness (1-14 DAYS)

Benjamin Franklin said “failing to prepare is preparing to fail”.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to thrive during a short-term disaster when gas and electricity aren’t available?

Join Aaron Olson at the Greenville Public Library for a beginner’s guide on where to start. We will address water procurement, what food to have on hand, where to find food in a pinch, and alternate power sources. We’ll also cover core temperature control: how to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

This is a free event held on the lawn at the Greenville Public Library.
