On September 23rd, 2017, Bridge of Grace Compassionate Ministries Center, the Mount Vernon Park Neighborhood Association, and various other entities will collaborate in hosting an event to celebrate the neighborhood’s progress and cultivate unity amongst community residents and stakeholders. Together we will officially open and name the Pallet Park across the street from Bridge of Grace, share our input about recent developments in the neighborhood, and relaunch the Mount Vernon Park Neighborhood Association. This event celebrates the partnership between Bridge of Grace and the Mount Vernon Park Neighborhood Association.
The event will include three components:
Dream Big: Mount Vernon Park, an event to celebrate progress that’s been made in the Mount Vernon Park Community and encourage residents to Dream Big by helping to hone the vision for our neighborhood’s future.
Block Party, an afternoon of games, food, and fellowship for neighborhood residents and church members. (Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a dish to share).
Opening and Naming of the Pallet Park
